Free meals for all students.

Weekly pick up for virtual learning students:

Tuesdays, Jan. 19, and 26 at Durand High School from 4:00-5:30

Tuesdays, February 2, 9, 16 and 23 at Durand High School from 4:00-5:30


Please stay in your vehicle and the food service staff will bring meals to you. Also for everyone’s protection, please wear a mask when picking up meals.


Friday meals will be available after school on Thursdays for face to face students.

If you have any questions please call the food service office at 989 288-8975.

Due to the recent switch to all virtual learning this week, each building will offer a 3 day food bundle (3 breakfast and 3 lunch meals)

Due to inclement weather, DAS Students will have their first official snow day of the year on Fri, Feb 5!

If your child rides bus #23, please either plan to arrange self transportation for your child, or please feel free to have your child log in to google to utilize the remote learning option for each class.

We have been working on different instructional models for this coming fall and the attached survey will help us narrow our focus. I am planning on a full return to school, which starts on August 20, 2020. (Full Calendar will be finalized in the next few days) However, we know that we have to be ready for multiple models of instruction up to and including full online instruction, depending on how things unfold in Lansing and with the virus itself. Today, Governor Whitmer issued Executive Order 2020-35 which closes school facilities for the remainder of this school year unless the Governor indicates it is safe to open and/or restrictions are lifted. (Please click the link to read the full letter)
